Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss, a bluegrass fiddler from Tennessee who was 19, was a major national celebrity in 1990 after getting the Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album. It was an impressive feat in many ways, not just because Krauss was young, and also due to the fact that I've Got That Old Feeling was the third album in her catalog. Too Late to Cry was her first album, released when 16 years old. Champaign Illinois resident's age of 16. She had already signed to Rounder Records, one of the top folk labels, in the age group of fourteen. Her accomplishments even at such a youthful age, as well as her virtuosity, are consistently confirmed by the fact that she's remained faithful to bluegrass - one of America's most enduring and least appreciated musical genres. Krauss had now matured from a teen phenom into a professional performer and producer.
