Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette (January 31, 1937 - January 19th 2007) was an American film, theatre television, voice actress. Pleshette started her stage career and was in films by the late 1950s. In later years, she was a prominent actor in movies like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (11). In later years, she was a part of different television productions, and was often acting as a guest. She played Emily Hartley in The Bob Newhart Show, 1972-1978 and received a number of Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette, a daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan),[1 and Eugene Pleshette, was born on January 31, 1937, in Brooklyn Heights. The parents of the couple were Jewish and were immigrants from Russia or Austria-Hungary. She was the daughter of Geraldine Rivers, a performer and dancer. Her father was a stage manager in both the Paramount Theater and Paramount Theater in Manhattan.
