Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota, journalist, author, anchor of CNN's morning show "New Day," and Westport, CT resident, is elected to the board of trustees at Westport Country Playhouse. Camerota's 30 years of journalistic experience has seen her write stories across the country and in other countries. Furthermore, she has won the Edward R. Murrow Award, as well as an Emmy Award. The board also has' transitions, Johnna G. Torsone of Stamford is named an honorary trustee after serving on the board since 2007, and Anna Czekaj-Farber of Westport was elected as the chair after having been as a board member since 2013. Czekaj Farber will replace Barbara Streicker, a Westport resident who has served as the chairperson of the board since October 2015. She continues her service on the board, that began in 2006.
