Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn has been an American actress for film television and stage since the end of the 1970s. She is a talented thespian who has been active professionally from over the past 27 years. Her acting debut was on stage in an off-Broadway production called The Big Funk by John Patrick Shanley in 1990. A year later she was offered her first television role, The Perfect Tribute. In 1992 her career was established when she was cast in a support role in Basic Instinct. The Firm is where she first made her appearance as a female actor alongside Tom Cruise. In the 90s, her work included working alongside top Hollywood stars like Gwyneth in Sliding Doors, Hugh Grant Mickey Blue Eyes as well as Julie Andrews Relative Values. Lexis was born into the same family who played golf so she should have plenty of knowledge playing the game. In 2007, she was the youngest golfer to qualify for the US Women's Open. The competition was not won, however she became the second player in 2007 after taking home the Aldila Junior Classic. She was the youngest American Junior Golf Association player (AJGA) in addition to being the youngest player to win the Westfield Junior PGA Championship at the time.
